The family-owned chain codes as a U.S. supermarket, so a card with a grocery bonus (Amex Gold, Blue Cash Preferred, Citi Custom Cash) will earn its full rate at the register. Schnucks runs its own loyalty program with fuel rewards redeemable at participating gas stations, which can stack with a separate gas-category card at the pump.
