Earning is a step up from the no fee version, with 6 points per dollar at Hotels by Wyndham, 4 points per dollar on dining, groceries, and travel, and no foreign transaction fee. The welcome offer is 100,000 points, split between 45,000 after $1,000 in purchases in the first 90 days and 55,000 more after $500 at Hotels by Wyndham within 180 days. Be clear on the limits: the 6x rate applies only at Wyndham properties, all other spending earns 1 point per dollar, and the free night worth up to 15,000 points requires five or more paid nights in a calendar year. Status settles at Platinum after a first year of Diamond, and the redemption discount is 10%, so this really only pencils out if you stay with Wyndham more than once a year.
