Our take

For a card with no annual fee, the Blue Cash Everyday covers a lot of ordinary household ground: 3% back at U.S. supermarkets, U.S. gas stations, and U.S. online retail. Each of those categories carries its own $6,000 annual cap and drops to 1% after that, so the practical ceiling is about $180 back per category per year. The extras are real but modest, up to $7 a month in statement credits toward Disney+, Hulu, or ESPN+ if you enroll, plus purchase protection on eligible items. A 0% intro APR for 15 months on purchases and on balance transfers requested within 60 days makes it workable as a payoff card too, and the $200 bonus after $2,000 in six months is an easy target over that long a window. It sits at #7 on our Best Cash Back list and makes a sensible first cash-back card, though anyone spending more than about $500 a month at the supermarket will hit that cap well before year end.
