The welcome offer is 130,000 points plus a Free Night Reward after $3,000 of spending in six months, which is a modest spending requirement for a bonus of that size. The catches are the quarterly shape of the credit, which is easy to leave unused if your Hilton stays cluster in one season, and the $15,000 annual spending needed to earn the Free Night Reward each year. Diamond status is possible at $40,000 of annual purchases, but most people should treat Gold as the real benefit.
