Our take

The SavorOne covers the same four everyday categories at 3% back: dining, entertainment, streaming, and groceries, with 12 months of 0% intro APR on purchases and balance transfers and no foreign transaction fee. That category spread is strong enough to put it at #4 on our Best Credit Cards for Dining and Groceries list. The problem is the $39 annual fee attached to it, which means about $1,300 a year in those 3% categories just to earn the fee back. There's also no signup bonus at all, so nothing offsets that cost in the first year the way a welcome offer normally would. Everything outside the bonus categories earns 1%, so unless your dining and grocery spending is substantial, Capital One's no-fee Savor covers the same ground without the annual charge.
