Our take
A flat 3% back on everything is the whole argument here, and it's a strong one: most no-category cards top out at 2%, so the extra point applies to every purchase without any tracking or activation. Travel booked through the Robinhood travel portal earns 5%, and the card throws in trip cancellation, trip delay, and lost luggage coverage plus cell phone protection when you pay your bill with it. The catches are real, though. There's a $50 annual fee, so you need roughly $5,000 of annual spend just to beat a fee-free 2% card, and the card charges foreign transaction fees, which rules it out for travel abroad despite the travel perks. The APR is a flat 29.99%, so this only works as a pay-in-full everyday card.
