Several premium cards offer status matches with Hertz President's Circle (Capital One Venture X, Amex Platinum), which adds a class upgrade and free additional driver. Bookings made through a card's travel portal earn the portal bonus rate but typically lose any direct-booking discount and may not always credit to your Gold Plus Rewards account.
