Kohl's is a mid-tier department store with about 1,150 stores and an aggressive Kohl's Cash rewards program. Most regular shoppers stack manufacturer sales, Kohl's coupons, and Kohl's Cash, so card cashback is the smallest of several layers. The Kohl's Card (issued by Capital One) gives in-house discounts but no MasterCard/Visa-network rewards. For most shoppers, a department-store-bonus general-purpose card is the right answer.
