Amex Resy Credit Now Needs Eligible Badge

Effective August 1, 2026, a U.S. restaurant must be marked as eligible for the Resy Credit on Resy at the time of purchase for Platinum and Gold cardholders to get the statement credit. Roughly 200 of about 10,000 listed locations are showing as ineligible so far. Amex says it has not removed any venues that were eligible before.

Amex Adds Leading Hotels Transfer Partner

American Express added Leaders Club, the loyalty program of Leading Hotels of the World, as a Membership Rewards transfer partner on July 28, 2026. Points move at 4:1, so 1,000 Membership Rewards points become 250 Leaders Club points. Citi ThankYou transfers to the same program at 5:1.

Amex Green Card Pulled, Renamed Classic Green

American Express removed the Green Card from its website on July 23, 2026, so new applicants can no longer sign up. Existing accounts will be renamed the American Express Classic Green Card effective August 20, 2026.

Amex Platinum Digital Entertainment Credit Drops Peacock Bundles and Add-Ons

Effective August 1, 2026, Peacock bundled subscriptions and add-on services will no longer count toward the Platinum Card's $300 Digital Entertainment Credit. Only standalone Peacock plans purchased directly from Peacock remain eligible.

American Express has launched a **$300 annual ChatGPT Business statement credit** for all new and existing cardholders of the Amex Business Gold and Business Platinum cards, effective **May 12, 2026**. The credit applies to ChatGPT Business subscriptions.
