The tradeoffs are what you would expect: no rewards at all, and a 26.4% regular APR that makes any carried balance costly, though the point of a card like this is to pay in full every month regardless. It also runs on the Amex network rather than Visa, so acceptance is narrower at some merchants. Use it to build payment history, then move on to a rewards card once your credit supports one.
