Sapphire Reserve Dining List Loses 28 Spots

Chase reshuffled the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables roster on August 28, 2026, adding 34 restaurants and dropping 28 with no announcement. New Mexico, Salt Lake City and Tulsa are left with no participating restaurants at all. The list still covers more than 400 locations across over 50 cities, and the benefit remains a $150 statement credit twice a year.

Citi Cuts Converted Aviator Card Perks Oct 25

Statement notices going out to former Barclays AAdvantage Aviator cardholders say the benefits Citi let them keep after the April 2026 conversion end on October 25, 2026. Aviator Red converts on the Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select lose a $25 annual Wi-Fi credit, and Aviator Silver converts on the Citi AAdvantage Globe lose 2X miles on hotels and car rentals, a $25 daily food and beverage credit, and a $50 annual Wi-Fi credit.

AAdvantage Executive Is Now World Legend, $695

Citi has rebranded the AAdvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard as the AAdvantage Executive World Legend Mastercard and raised the annual fee from $595 to $695. The refresh adds up to $500 a year in American Airlines Vacations credits, up to $100 back on inflight and Admirals Club purchases, and Omni Hotels Champion Status, while dropping the Grubhub credit for new cardmembers. A limited time offer of 125,000 miles after $15,000 in five months is live.

Citi Ends Sunoco Card Program October 31

Citi is mailing Sunoco Rewards Credit Card holders notice that every account closes on October 31, 2026 because the Citibank credit card program with Sunoco is ending. The card's 5 cents per gallon fuel discount goes with it. Sunoco says a replacement Sunoco Rewards Plus card is coming, but applications are closed and no issuer has been named.

Flying Blue Splits Awards Into Three Fares

Starting September 8, 2026, Flying Blue awards on Air France and KLM flights split into Light, Standard and Flex. Business class to Europe runs 60,000 miles for Light, 75,000 for Standard and 110,000 for Flex. Light drops lounge access, changes and refunds. Flying Blue is a transfer partner of Amex, Chase, Citi, Capital One, Bilt and U.S. Bank, so the change reaches most transferable points balances.
