Bilt Obsidian

Obsidian is the paid tier of Bilt's rent-focused lineup: $95 a year buys 3x on your choice of dining or groceries, 4x on hotels and 3x on flights booked through Bilt Travel, 2x on other travel, 3x on Lyft rides after you link your Lyft account, and up to 1.25 points per dollar on rent and mortgage payments with no transaction fee. Two $50 statement credits a year for Bilt Travel hotel bookings offset most of the fee, and the welcome offer is $200 in Bilt Cash deposited at approval with no minimum spend, which is rare. The fine print matters more than usual here: the 3x category is capped at $25,000 a year and drops to 1x after, the up to 6x dining rate applies only at the limited network of participating Bilt Dining restaurants, the transit rate covers Lyft and nothing else, and the rent multiplier is recalculated each cycle from your everyday spend against your housing payment, so 1.25x is a ceiling. Everything outside those buckets earns 1 point per dollar, a thin base for a card carrying an annual fee. Note also that the intro APR is 10%, not 0%, for the first 12 billing cycles, with 26.74% to 34.74% after, so treat this strictly as a spending card.
