Its welcome bonus recently rose from 60,000 to 70,000 points, and the $1,000 spending requirement is low. For a $99 annual fee it earns 6 points per dollar on JetBlue purchases and 2 per dollar on dining and groceries, and it gives you and up to three companions a free first checked bag on JetBlue-operated flights when you book with the card. That bag benefit, plus 5,000 anniversary points and a $100 credit once a year after buying a JetBlue Vacations package of $100 or more, can easily cover the fee if you fly JetBlue a few times a year. The catch is the 1 point per dollar on everything else, so it's a JetBlue card, not a card for everyday spending. Ten percent of your points back on award flights, half off inflight purchases, and a 12-month 0% intro APR on balance transfers are useful extras.
