A 60,000 point bonus for only $1,000 of spending in three months is one of the lowest thresholds on any airline card, and it is a large part of why the Plus sits at number two on our best airline cards list with the Best Overall badge. The recurring case is simpler still: a free first checked bag for you and up to three companions, 5,000 anniversary points, and a $100 JetBlue Vacations statement credit each year can outrun the $99 fee for anyone who flies JetBlue a couple of times annually. Earning is 6x on JetBlue purchases, 2x at restaurants and grocery stores, and 1x on everything else, so it belongs in your wallet for flights and not much else. The offer did come down from 70,000 in May, so the current bonus is not the strongest this card has shown. Value is concentrated entirely in JetBlue itself, and the Mosaic status boost needs $50,000 in purchases, which is out of reach for most cardholders at these earn rates.
