The Attune is no longer accepting applications, so this take is for people who already carry it. Its appeal is 4% cash back on an unusual set of lifestyle categories: gyms and self-care, entertainment and recreation, streaming, pet supplies, gardening, public transit, EV charging, and secondhand stores, all with no annual fee. If your spending lines up with those categories it is worth keeping in the rotation, but everything else earns just 1%, so it needs a flat-rate card next to it. Note that rideshare like Uber and Lyft does not count toward the transit rate. Cell phone protection of up to $600 per claim is a minor extra. If you are shopping for a new card, the Autograph or Active Cash are Wells Fargo's open alternatives.
