The Attune's appeal is the shape of its 4% categories: gyms and salons, movie theaters and live events, streaming, pet care, gardening, public transportation, EV charging and secondhand stores, all with no annual fee. That is an unusually specific list, and if your spending happens to land inside it the card outearns most flat-rate cash back options, which is part of why it still sits at #9 on our Best Cash Back list. The catch is timing: Wells Fargo stopped accepting new applications in June 2026, so this is now a card you keep rather than one you can get. Everything outside those categories earns just 1%, and the rest of the package is modest: a $100 bonus after $500 of spend in three months, 12 months of 0% intro APR on purchases, and up to $600 of cell phone protection with a $25 deductible. If you already hold it, keep it for the 4% categories and pair it with a stronger base-rate card.
