The Attune is no longer accepting new applications as of June 2026, so this is now a card for existing holders to evaluate rather than one to chase. What made it distinctive was the 4% rate on categories almost nobody else pays on: gyms and salons, entertainment and attractions, streaming, pet supplies, gardening and florists, public transit, EV charging, and secondhand stores, all with no annual fee. If your spending actually lands in those buckets it remains a strong keeper, which is why it still ranks #11 on our Best Cash Back list. The limitation is the same as it always was: everything outside those niches earns 1%, so it was never meant to be your only card. If you are shopping for a replacement, the Autograph covers dining, travel, gas, transit, streaming, and phone plans at 3x with no fee, and the Active Cash pays a flat 2% on everything.
