The Quicksilver's pitch is simplicity: a flat 1.5% cash back on everything with no annual fee and no foreign transaction fee, so there are no categories to track or activate. The $200 bonus after $500 of spend in the first three months is unusually easy to clear, and the 15 months of 0% intro APR on both purchases and balance transfers give it a second life as a short-term financing card. The tradeoff is that 1.5% is now the low end of flat-rate cash back, which is why it lands at #8 on our Best Cash Back list rather than the top. The only bonus rate is 5% on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel, which locks you into that portal to get it. Reasonable as a no-fuss backup card, but don't expect it to be the highest earner in your wallet.
