This card is narrow by design: the 2 points per dollar rate applies only to Princess Cruises purchases, and everything else, including other travel, earns 1 point per dollar. The opening offer is the real draw, 20,000 points after just $1,000 in spending in the first three months, which is a low bar for a card with no annual fee. It also carries no foreign transaction fee, which is useful on a cruise itinerary with foreign port charges, plus a 0% intro APR for 15 months on balance transfers. The problem is what happens after the bonus: with a flat 1x on non-Princess spending, a plain 2% cash back card beats it on nearly everything, and the standard APR runs 18.49% to 29.49%. Worth opening if you have a Princess sailing booked and want the bonus toward it, but not a card that earns its keep day to day.
