The signup bonus is 90,000 points after $5,000 in three months, trimmed from 100,000 in early August, so this isn't the card's strongest window. The companion pass credits are the real headline but they demand volume, up to $500 after $15,000 of calendar-year purchases and up to another $1,500 after $75,000. Earning away from the airline is unremarkable, with 6x on JetBlue and TrueBlue Travel, 2x on dining and groceries, and 1x on everything else, so add up the credits you will actually use before committing to the fee.
