Alliant Cashback Visa Signature

Alliant has closed this card to new applications, so this is a note for existing holders rather than a recommendation. Since November 1, 2025 it pays a flat 1.5% on everything, replacing the old 2.5% Tier One structure that required an Alliant High-Rate Checking account. At 1.5% with no annual fee and no foreign transaction fees it is still a serviceable catch-all, but the rate no longer stands out against ordinary flat-rate cards. There are no benefits attached to fall back on either. Keep it as a backup if you already have it, but the reason people sought it out is gone.
