Amex Resy Credit Now Needs Eligible Badge
Effective August 1, 2026, a U.S. restaurant must be marked as eligible for the Resy Credit on Resy at the time of purchase for Platinum and Gold cardholders to get the statement credit. Roughly 200 of about 10,000 listed locations are showing as ineligible so far. Amex says it has not removed any venues that were eligible before.

AAdvantage Executive Fee Rises to $695
American Airlines, Citi and Mastercard announced on August 3, 2026 that the Citi AAdvantage Executive Mastercard moves to a $695 annual fee on August 23, up from $595. The card adds up to $500 back on American Airlines Vacations, up to $100 back on inflight and Admirals Club purchases, $180 in annual Lyft credits, and 12X miles on AAdvantage Hotels and Cars bookings.

Chase Sapphire Lounges Drop Priority Pass
Starting August 15, 2026, Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club locations leave the Priority Pass and LoungeKey networks, ending the one free visit per calendar year and the $75 discounted repeat visits those members had. The same day, eligible Chase cardholders on a connecting itinerary get a five hour access window instead of three.

Bilt Adds Authorized Users Starting at 13
Bilt has detailed how authorized users work on its Bilt Card lineup. Cardholders can add an authorized user starting at age 13, with the primary cardholder setting monthly and per-transaction limits, choosing which merchant categories are accessible, and seeing purchases in real time. Authorized users 18 and up get virtual cards and can make housing payments in the app. Credit reporting for those 18 and over is coming later in 2026.

Intuit Launches 2% Cash Back Business Card
Intuit launched the Intuit Business Credit Card on July 22, 2026. The no annual fee World Elite Business Mastercard, issued by WebBank, pays 2% cash back on everyday purchases and 5% on Intuit products including QuickBooks, TurboTax, and Mailchimp. Card transactions sync natively into QuickBooks, employee cards are unlimited, and a $300 welcome bonus is available after $3,000 in spend in the first three months.
