The Disney Premier Visa offers a middle path for Disney fans, earning 5% back on Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+, plus 2% on gas, groceries, dining, and at most U.S. Disney locations for a $49 annual fee. The welcome offer, a $200 Disney eGift Card on approval plus a $100 statement credit after spending $500 in the first 3 months, more than covers that first-year fee. In-park perks like 10% off select merchandise and dining and 15% off select guided tours add value if you visit Disneyland or Walt Disney World. The tradeoff is that 2% on everyday categories is ordinary, everything else earns 1%, and the card charges foreign transaction fees, so it is a poor travel companion abroad. It makes the most sense for households that pay for Disney streaming and plan regular park trips.
