At a $49 annual fee, the Premier is the middle Disney card, and its welcome offer has the easiest bar of the family: $300 total, as a $200 Disney eGift Card on approval plus a $100 statement credit after just $500 of spending in three months. Ongoing earning is modest and narrower than the headline suggests: the 5% rate covers only Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+, and the 2% entertainment rate applies only at most U.S. Disney locations, alongside 2% on gas, groceries, and dining, and 1% on everything else. The perks are park-centric rather than financial, mainly 10% off select merchandise purchases of $50 or more and select dining, 15% off select guided tours, and cardmember photo locations. One real drawback is that this card charges foreign transaction fees, so leave it home for trips abroad. It earns its keep if you visit Disneyland or Walt Disney World regularly, and very little otherwise.
